Ghana

I have been invited by Rivers of Life International to join them in ministering to a group of young pastors in Ho Ghana. I will be teaching at 2 pastors conferences, equipping over 400 young pastors in the area. Rivers of Life International has been sowing into this area in many different ways over the last 5 years. They have met many practical needs, though there are many more that must be met for the people to have a healthy living environment. The majority of the leaders in the churches were given Bibles over 3 decades ago along with a short time of training and then left to lead the local church. The older leaders are using medians like they had before to receive the direction for the church. The young pastors that are now taking over the churches have been convicted that Jesus is our median. They are in desperate need of leaders to come and practically show them how to walk out a daily life of prayer and leading others with a fathers heart.

We are also going to some small villages just outside Ho to share His love with women that have been abandoned by their husbands and the fatherless children. I am personally excited about loving on these children. Rivers of Life International is helping the women start their own businesses to provide for their families. They have helped set up a sewing shop and a bakery. Both businesses are set up to train other women so they do not have to prostitute themselves or starve. They have also worked very hard to get running water to theses villages. This is still a work in process and they are needing $10000 for the 7 miles of pipe line, but have the labor set.
God has opened this door for me to minister and I am asking you to join me in financial partnership. I need $4000 to minister for these 2 weeks. The majority of this is my flight. If you would like to donate airline miles I will be flying Delta Airlines. If you would like to help Rivers of Life International in getting water to these villages please contact me. Feel free to visit their website, riversoflife411.com or my families at http://www.hackerfamily.wordpress.com to follow up on or help how the Lord leads you. Thank you for prayerfully considering sending me to these young pastors, women, and children.

Abiding in His love,

Jamin

Romans 8:14-16
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God!

Dear Beloved Friends,

We are past the half way mark of the Fall Internership full of excitement of what God has done and is doing. We have seen healings: bones spurs in the foot, back pain, neck pain, rotator cuff, knee, ankle, and many emotional healings. Our team is very close and very hungry.
We found out we are pregnant last month and on the 17th will get to hear this little ones heart beat. Sarah is doing great. She is tired and nauseas, but glowing! Our laptop bit the dust soon after finding out. It is great to see God work though! He provided a new computer that suits us better. With our addition we have decided to go on a journey to find a bigger home. Libby will turn 5 the 21st of this month Sarah is working hard trying to plan a fun party for her this year! We are still planning to adopt, but things are on hold until after we move.
We have teams called Prayer Strike teams. Their goal is to develop and train prayer strike teams and to deploy them to spiritually dark and resistant regions of the world, where our teams engage in concentrated worship, prayer, and fasting for spiritual breakthrough; for justice to be established; and for the salvation of souls. During these “strikes,” they join with and support the ministry of local churches through prayer, just as the church in Rome labored with Paul in prayer: “Now I beg you, brethren, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers for me . . .” (Rom. 15:30).

As I said last month, developing the truth of our spiritual identity is a process and we need to seek after it. One of the most significant and foundational truths of our identity in Christ is our sonship/daughtership. The key through Paul’s understanding to walking in the Spirit was the revelation of sonship. By affirming who we are in Christ would liberate us from the bondage of a corrupt and fallen world. Victory is found through identifying with the truth of our weakness as we are confined to this world, while trusting God to give us the power and comfort of the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit we are affirmed in sonship and granted the authority to partner with Him in intercession and governing the earth, fulfilling our eternal inheritance. God has granted full access and authority to the things of His Spirit and Kingdom to his sons and daughters. It is the plan of darkness to keep this truth from the people of God. Paul exhorts us, that nothing is able to withstand the destiny of the children of God being manifested in the earth (Romans 8:37-39)!
